Meet Tony Meloy, MD

I was born and raised in Melbourne Beach, Florida. Before deciding on a medicine career, I joined the military and served our country during the War in Afghanistan. I learned much about taking pride in our country and serving its people. After leaving the military, I worked as a fireman in Florida while attending school and receiving a bachelor's and master's at the University of Central Florida. Acceptance into the UAMS family medicine residency led me to Arkansas, where my journey in patient care as a physician truly began. I now have over 7 years of experience serving the Northwest Arkansas community and its healthcare needs.

With experience in multiple careers before becoming a physician, my pathway to family medicine was not a traditional one, and, because of this, I believe its played a key role in my decision to practice medicine in a more holistic and preventative Direct Primary Care model. My desire to ensure quality care and remove obstacles, such as insurance and a lack of availability or communication, remains a priority in my practice.

In my DPC office, we take what’s broken about today’s healthcare system and instead, simplify the model. There is no administration, insurance company or regulatory agency to disrupt what should be the priority of every visit...the patient’s needs! So what’s left? A medicine model that focuses on unrushed and unlimited visits, transparent pricing, same-day appointments, 24/7 physician access, and no copays.

It truly is Mayberry-style medicine in a modern setting.
